In this moment when farmers’ futures are imperiled by ongoing disruption and stress, the commitment and skills of our profession have never been more essential.

Farmers’ viability is threatened daily by increases in the frequency of severe weather events, higher costs of agricultural materials, price volatility, and uncertainty regarding disaster assistance and other support programs.

Economy, community, and culture all come together in the food system. Investing in farms’ viability is essential to capturing the opportunities present in our communities and across our country. Each farm means food security, meaningful work, and thriving rural communities, but farmers can’t thrive without a collaborative environment that makes economies work for them and brings real solutions.

NFVC 2026 is centered on the theme, “Resilience in Practice: Solutions in Challenging Times.” Farm and food business advisors will meet to strengthen our work in a community of practice. As we convene, we are investing in resilience, adaptability, and success ⸺ for ourselves, our organizations, and the farmers we work beside each day.

Since 2008, NFVC has reliably been where professionals in farm viability and related fields come together to sharpen skills, share insights, and debrief challenges. Join us to strengthen or form relationships that drive excellence through connection and collaboration. Individually, we are impactful. Together, we are transformative. The work awaits us!

Registration is open until August 3rd, 2026.
