The National Farm Viability Conference includes more than 25 workshops and a long list of knowledgeable presenters! Our workshops are located at the Middlebury Inn, the Town Hall Theater, Ilsley Public Library, and the Vermont Community Foundation, all within a five minute walk from each other in downtown Middlebury, Vermont. Workshops are focused in three key areas, with at least one workshop in each track concurrently taking place during each session. The majority of the workshops will be panel presentations or facilitated discussions.
- BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMING: providing business planning, feasibility analysis, and transfer planning services.
- MARKETING & MARKET DEVELOPMENT: assisting farm and food businesses in accessing new market opportunities.
- FINANCING: financing agricultural operations and supporting entrepreneurs to access various types of capital.
